How-To's Place to put instructions on how to perform tasks, use tools, etc. These will be things used for the purpose of troubleshooting and resolving issues. My idea is, if we suggest to a person, for example, "Go to Event Viewer and copy/paste the errors here", then that user can use these directions to go to Event Viewer, copy the error details and paste them in their post. This way, we're not repeating the steps for often-used processes. Some of the stuff I'm working on include: - How get into Safe Mode - How to use MSconfig - How to use IPCONFIG - How to use Task Manager - How to use Event Viewer I've got a big list and little time, so I'll get to each as I'm able. Will add more, too, as time goes on. |
